Stewkley School

This is a history of the village school from its foundation in 1860 in the building opposite the church, through its move to the new site in 1977, when it became known as St Michael´s, and up to the present day. The school log books have revealed not only details of the children´s education but also a fascinating insight into rural life over the past 150 years.
